Slept well, thanks Elliott for letting me use your bed.
Janie and I left soon after 9am to go to Stockport where we got the train to Manchester, and when at Piccadilly, found the information about there being no trams was incorrect, as there were trams to 'Media City', the new stop next to The Lowry. It was a foul day weather-wise, strong winds and driving rain, which might have contributed to the low turn-out, just me, Janie and Phil, as a mini-reunion of the May 2010 Everyday People Spencer Tunick participants. But, we got a guided tour by the curator of 'The House of Annie Lennox', an exhibition about the life and work of Annie Lennox, who features in my life as the singer for The Eurythmics, and sang many 1980s hits I listened to on Top of The Pops and Radio 1.
The exhibition was really good... we had the tour, then wandered round by ourselves, and then went for a coffee with Phil, and as he went, we had another walk round before heading back to the tram back into Manchester.
We parted company at Piccadilly, I got the train back to York an Janie went to Stockport and home.
The journey was nice, read NewScientist and shelled pumpkin seeds.
And it was good to see the family again, not sure the boys realised I'd been away for 24 hours.
In the evening I edited Wikipedia, inserting a new heading http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Annie_Lennox#.27The_House_of_Annie_Lennox.27_Exhibition_2011_-_2012 and learning how to do references or citations.
